Job Summary

As an Automotive Engineer at Trinamics Beheer B.V., you will be responsible for ensuring the OBD Scan Tool communication complies with legal and standardization requirements. You will create calibrations for Scan Tool functions and execute test cases related to Scan Tool operations. Additionally, you will coordinate internal activities related to these topics and update certification documentation to provide legislators with the required information. You will also address field issues and bring them to resolution following DMIAC and FRACAS methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement OBD Scan Tool communication protocols to meet legal and standardization requirements.
  • Create and execute test cases for Scan Tool functions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate internal activities related to OBD Scan Tool communication and certification documentation.
  • Update certification documentation to provide legislators with the required information.
  • Address field issues and bring them to resolution following DMIAC and FRACAS methods.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with an interest in automotive or vehicle engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAE /73, CAN is mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of OBD regulations and OBD systems.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work with different stakeholders.
  • Structured working approach combined with a pleasure to work in teams.
  • Enthusiasm for dealing with complex systems and proposing solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Good MS Office skills are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
