Senior Immunologist

CureVac Netherlands B. V. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist Immunology to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our immunology department, you will play a crucial role in the design and clinical validation of innovative cancer immunotherapies.

• Provide daily guidance and supervision to experimental activities related to cancer antigen validation across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with computational and genomic scientists to drive cross-functional innovation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary projects across the company, leveraging your expertise in T cell biology and cellular assays.
• Manage external collaborations with academic and Contract Research Organizations to advance our research goals.
• Work closely with the director of antigen discovery and the director of antigen validation to develop the overall strategy of the department.

• PhD in Immunology / Oncology with >10 years of experience.
• Expertise in T cell biology and cellular assays with primary human immune cells, with experience in TCR engineering being an advantage.
• Proficient in flow cytometry (conventional and spectral).
• Experience in providing intellectual and practical guidance to technicians and more junior team members.
• Proven track record in published work and/or patents in the field of immune-oncology.
• Knowledge of single cell RNA sequencing is a plus.
• Structured and organized personality with great communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
