Olympia is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in the aviation maintenance department. As an aircraft sheet metal worker, you will be responsible for performing sheet metal work on aircraft, including repairs and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work on the exterior of aircraft, such as replacing damaged sheet metal parts, repairing dents, and performing welding tasks.
- Evaluate and estimate modifications, defect rectifications, and other specialized sheet metal repairs.
- Perform basic repairs, blend outs, and reinforcing repairs.
- Install and repair floor beams and frames.
- Perform structural repairs on floor beams, fuselage skin repairs, including stringers, doublers, and triplers.
- Remove corrosion, evaluate damage, and restore finishes.
Requirements
- Education and/or experience in metalworking.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Willingness to travel abroad.
- Ability to work regularly on weekends and evenings.
Benefits
- A salary between €2700 and €3500 per month.
- A full-time position (40 hours).
- An opportunity to be part of an international organization.
- An opportunity for a direct contract with the client after 6 months of employment.
- 25 vacation days, vacation pay (8%), and pension accrual.
- Travel expense reimbursement: €0.23 per km up to a maximum of 30 km one way.
