Control Room Automation Manager

Are you looking for a challenging role that combines logistics, automation, and management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Control Room Automation Manager to join our team at GXO Logistics.

You will be responsible for coordinating automated processes within the warehouse, managing a team of process controllers, and overseeing the sortation process to meet departures. Your main goal will be to ensure smooth logistics operations in our warehouse.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a team of process controllers and WCS key users
  • Organizing departures from the distribution centre based on SLA agreements
  • Ensuring the sortation process is running smoothly to meet departures
  • Stakeholder management with the Customer department to achieve objectives
  • Management of incidents
  • Stakeholder management with all parties involved in the supply chain
  • Continuous improvement and optimization of costs with Business Support
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or HBO in a related field or engineering
  • Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation
  • High knowledge of Logistics/Supply Chain
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work with a professional critical attitude
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and proactive
  • Skillful in planning, conflict analysis, and resolution
  • Alert, precise, flexible, and able to cope with stress
