About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Turnaround Planner to join our team at Dow Benelux B.V. in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare job packages and input plans into SAP, ensuring accurate resource allocation, material requirements, and service needs.
  • Review work orders for technical completeness and return incomplete orders to the gatekeeper.
  • Identify task activities necessary to execute job plans and determine required materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Solicit safety information and requirements to ensure safe task execution.
  • Support Procedure Use Policy by ensuring job packages include procedures or are exempt from procedures.
  • Act as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, creating, developing, changing, and updating job procedures and checklists as needed.
  • Use feedback from the person performing the work to optimize work plans.
  • Utilize quality feedback to optimize and archive job plans.
  • Consider cost and duration when planning.
  • Track planning effectiveness using measurement processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of MBO 4 with technical education or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of relevant experience, such as maintenance at different plants or working in various turnarounds.
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of Dutch.
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or ROSER and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Maintenance or Turnaround Planner role.
  • Previous experience working in a (petro)chemical plant production facility.
