Job Title: Electromagnetic Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Protection Specialist to join our team at Park Lane Recruitment. As an Electromagnetic Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic protection of NATO common static facilities and transportable CIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform shielding effectiveness testing and maintenance of shielded enclosures to meet the requirements for Electromagnetic Pulse Protection (EMPP), Communication Security (COMSEC), TEMPEST, and Radio Frequency (RF) interference protection.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining NCI Agency E3 related technical procedures, making analyses and recommendations for their improvement.
  • Prepare and record maintenance & test reports and studies.
  • Maintain the NCI Agency UE3 Data Base and regular administrative files.
Requirements:
  • Currently active NATO SECRET security clearance.
  • Vocational training at a higher level in RF Electronics and Radio Communications Engineering or relevant discipline with 1 year of post-related experience; or a secondary educational qualification with 2 years post-related experience.
  • Experience in mechanical work, using several mechanical work machines.
  • Theoretical knowledge and practical experience of Pneumatic Controls Systems.
  • Knowledge about various Earthing and Grounding concepts of static and deployable installations.
  • Must have experience within the profile of computer science or information technology.
  • Proficient in the use of general and standard test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment.
Desirable Knowledge:
  • Spectrum analysis and Radio Frequency (RF) and modulation measurement techniques.
