The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Product Design Lead to join our Search & Discovery team. As a key member of our design team, you'll take ownership of the UX for our rental platform product, researching, analyzing, and designing user interfaces to ensure the best user experience for tenants and landlords.
You'll lead, support, and mentor a small team of UX designers, driving all aspects of user experience and visual language for the Search & Discovery domain. You'll also facilitate design workshops, communicate product design ideas to cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall UX vision and strategy.
Responsibilities- Own the design process for the Search & Discovery product team, from research to testing and validation.
- Drive user experience and visual language for the Search & Discovery domain.
- Mentor a high-performing team of designers, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
- Be an ambassador for design thinking and experience design within the company.
- Facilitate design workshops and communicate product design ideas to cross-functional teams.
- At least 6 years of experience in product design, including experience working in-house as a designer in a product company.
- Experience in research-led product development and a proactive attitude.
- Experience building, managing, and mentoring a team of designers.
- Demonstrated experience in evolving and innovating design processes.
- Great understanding of business needs and tech constraints.
- Skilled in conceptual and detailed design, visualizing complex ideas into coherent flows and elegant visual interfaces.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
