Job Title: Dispatcher Direct Express

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatcher Direct Express to join our Benelux team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning Express and white glove deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan Express and white glove deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of shipments.
  • Develop and implement optimized routing strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce transit times.
  • Assign and manage subcontractors, vehicles, and equipment based on availability, delivery requirements, and priority levels.
  • Monitor delivery progress in real-time, addressing any issues or delays promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers and end-receivers providing updates on delivery status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure all deliveries comply with relevant regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all dispatch activities.
  • Quickly identify and resolve any operational issues that may arise during the delivery process.
  • Work closely with the operations team, drivers, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong carrier database, for both Express and white glove service partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching and logistics within the transport industry, preferably with international experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively resolve operational issues.
  • High level of flexibility is required operationally as well in working times.
