Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000, depending on location and experience.

Job Description

As the Vice President of Innovation, you will oversee and implement changes in approaches, methods, products, and processes to enhance competitiveness and improve organizational efficiencies. You will identify, strategize, develop, and drive transformative initiatives and champion the role of innovation by aligning overall business strategy with innovative thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a vision, culture and process that capitalizes on current and future market momentum within the International Division and supports our Opco's with ideation, design and development of their innovation pipeline and launch of new products and solutions.
  • Leverage market data, technology & market trends and customer insights to translate into growth opportunities for the respective Opco's.
  • Define, embody, and empower the International Innovation's pipeline and culture, with oversight of our product/solutions, design, technology and market data.
  • Scale, motivate high-output teams, and cultivate a creative and passionate Innovation mindset and culture.
  • Be a hands-on leader who is able to lead by example and strengthen our culture, teams and processes to harness our trusted relationships with our customers and bring new solutions to market.

Key Functional Competencies

  • Organizational Leadership: Create a comprehensive long-term innovation strategy for the International Division and lead the International innovation strategy that fulfills our mission of the number one player in building products and solutions with a winning portfolio delivering at least 20% EBITDA and double digit growth year on year.
  • Developing, Strategizing, and Planning New Interventions: Report on and adapt innovative interventions within the International Division, as required.
  • Meeting with Key Stakeholders: Identify areas of innovation and growth and advise management on yearly, medium-term, long-term, and future innovation goals.
  • Identify Technology and Market Trends: Lead International Division's efforts to understand the market (potential) and tap market opportunity that generates high margin growth opportunities for our Opco's.
  • Develop and Lead Execution of International Division Innovation and Product/Solutions Strategy: Run an efficient and inclusive process at International Division and Opco level for defining and updating the Opco product & Solutions strategy and co-shape the Opco innovation pipeline and product & solutions development and go-to-market implementation.

Experience/Education

  • University Degree in Engineering (Mech. or Electrical) or in a related discipline, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience leading innovation/technology strategy and implementations.
  • Significant experience with technology-driven innovation programs, thought leadership, and strategic communications.
  • Exceptional visionary, marketing and communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and compellingly.
