At Yacht, we're seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Venlo, Netherlands. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of €55,000 - €65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a technical writer at Yacht, you'll play a crucial role in creating and communicating complex technical information to various audiences. You'll be the bridge between our technical experts and end-users, ensuring that our advanced production printers and applications are well-documented.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating user manuals, technical service manuals, installation guides, and maintenance/instructional videos
  • Collaborating with engineers and service product specialists to understand hardware and services complexities
  • Translating technical information into concise, well-structured content

You'll work closely with our Documentation and Translation department, which is responsible for developing information and documentation for our latest products. Our team consists of international technical writers located on multiple sites, and we're constantly seeking innovative ways to develop documentation.

We're looking for someone with a positive mindset, who can combine a structured approach with technical knowledge and excellent people skills. If you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field, and a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in technical development or hands-on service and support, we'd love to hear from you.

Apart from your technical expertise, you should be able to coordinate and lead a team of technical writers, and have experience with XML, English (fluent), and Dutch (preferred). Additional languages are an advantage.
