Sustainability Consultant Associate

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consulting Associate to join our team at JLL. As a Sustainability Consulting Associate, you will play a key role in leading sustainability engagement with large and high-profile clients, predominantly investors, property companies, and global companies occupying real estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development – Drive business growth in the Netherlands by implementing and activating the EMEA sustainability consulting go-to-market strategy. Collaborate closely with local JLL teams and EMEA Sustainability Solution teams to engage with clients, develop and nurture client relationships, and craft compelling pitches and proposals that address sustainability opportunities and contribute to winning new business.
- Project Management – Project manage the delivery of several client projects or tasks, ensuring a professional relationship and the effective delivery of sustainability services to time and budget. This can involve creating project plans, delegating tasks, and deliverables to colleagues, and providing ultimate oversight and review of deliverables.
- Consulting Delivery: Understand client's sustainability needs and ambitions, undertaking materiality and peer reviews, and leading stakeholder engagement to develop and support the creation of compelling visions and strategies. Taking a client through the strategy implementation journey, through well-crafted goals, actions plan, and bringing the strategy to life through engagement.
- Thought Leadership: Create thought leadership pieces for communication, to enhance client offerings, and ensure the team remain at the forefront of emerging thinking.
- Ethics: Understand the organisations behavioural, moral, ethical and compliance standards & requirements, adhere to and demonstrate highest regard to these in all situations when interacting with customers, clients, and colleagues.
About You
We are looking for a strategic individual with a customer-centric mindset, specialist knowledge in sustainability, and strong communication skills, with a track record of working with Senior / C-Level stakeholders in client organizations. You should have excellent project management skills, ability to take ownership of client deliverable, to ensure alignment of multiple internal stakeholders and to meet deadlines. A strong problem-solving skills and ideally experience developing holistic solutions in a business context are also required. Excellent team-working, and ability to contribute towards a positive team dynamic are essential. Some experience working with Real Estate investors or occupiers is preferable but not essential. Fluent in both English and Dutch, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
