Service Technician

Actief Werkt is a leading specialist in national guarantee, service, and maintenance since 2008. Our team of experts visits nearly 2000 locations in the Netherlands annually, covering various installations, including boilers and warm pumps. Our work environment is informal and collaborative, emphasizing teamwork and knowledge sharing. From day one, you'll feel welcome, and during your onboarding period, you'll be paired with an experienced colleague to ensure a smooth transition to independent work.

As a service technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of heating installations at our clients' sites. Your daily routine will involve visiting different locations, performing repairs, and conducting thorough final inspections. With your technical expertise, you'll get boilers from brands like Nefit and Miele up and running optimally. After completing an internal training program, you'll obtain the CO Certification and work independently. This role offers a high degree of variety and responsibility, making every day unique.

What is CO Certification, and why do you need it?

By obtaining the CO Certification, you demonstrate your ability to work safely on gas-fired installations without risking carbon monoxide exposure. From January 1, 2023, this certification is mandatory for anyone installing, repairing, or maintaining gas-fired installations. This ensures safer installations and prevents accidents.

What will you do?

Week 1: You'll learn the theory behind CO Certification and schedule the theory sessions.

Week 2/3: You'll accompany an experienced technician in your region, observing and learning while your practical training is scheduled for CO Certification.

Week 4: Once you've mastered the skills and obtained the CO Certification, you'll receive a company bus with tools. Now, you'll work independently at client sites.

Additional Information:

The certification and accompanying training costs are covered by Actief Werkt. However, you'll be responsible for the costs of the theoretical and practical training sessions during weeks 1 and 2/3.

• You have an affinity for the technical sector;

• You are customer-friendly and represent the company well;
• You possess the VCA Certification or are willing to obtain it at no cost.
