If you're passionate about reducing food waste and driving meaningful change with data, this could be your ideal opportunity. As a Senior Data Architect, you'll be at the forefront of developing a smart, scalable data platform that powers their commercial products using Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Infrastructure Development: Design and build a robust data infrastructure and ETL pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.
  • System Architecture: Architect a future-proof system with automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD processes to maintain high performance and reliability.
  • Platform Optimization: Keep their platform lean, fast, and secure, leveraging the best technology in the industry.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay curious, continuously exploring new tools and technologies to ensure they remain at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements
  • Industry Expertise: You've got at least 5 years of experience in the field, and you've thrived in fast-paced, dynamic environments. You've built cloud-based data platforms and have strong opinions about different tools.
  • Data Systems Specialist: You're all about creating and optimizing rock-solid data systems and have a knack for adopting best practices.
  • AI/ML Enthusiast: You're familiar with machine learning models and excited to collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists.
  • Team Collaboration: You communicate clearly, work well with others, and keep the product front and center.
  • Communication: Strong communicator with fluency in English.
  • Work Authorization: Right to work in the Netherlands, as visa sponsorship is not available.
Technical Requirements
  • Cloud Platform: Azure
  • Data Warehousing: PostgreSQL
  • ETL Tools: SQL, SQLmesh
  • Predictive Modelling: Python, R
  • Machine Learning Experience: Must have worked with Machine Learning models in your role as a Data Engineer.
  • Version Control and CI/CD: GitHub
