Avantium Renewable Polymers is a leading company in the field of renewable polymers. We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Finance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Finance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to our manufacturing plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all financial activities within the manufacturing plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard plant assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with plant management and cross-functional teams to develop annual operating budgets and long-term strategic plans.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting processes.
  • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., BC365, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and market research. This salary takes into account the complexity of the role, the level of experience required, and the location of the position.
