Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Carbyon. As a senior professional, you will be responsible for driving the development of our machine designs, translating physics engineering calculations into tangible mechanical solutions, and prioritizing complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sub-projects, collaborating with key stakeholders such as the Carbyon team and external partners.
  • Conduct in-depth physics engineering calculations to underpin mechanical choices, addressing critical aspects like thermal dynamics, strength, and stiffness.
  • Transform calculations into (partial) machine designs, showcasing ability to prioritize and navigate through complex challenges even under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise from concept to detailed designs, embodying the go-to person for all things mechanical until the team expands.
