The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Design Tool Programming intern to join our team. As a Design Tool Programming intern, you will be responsible for coding and optimizing the data exchange mechanisms needed between our software packages, using a combination of coding in CAD-package native scripting environments and stand-alone routines. You will work closely with our experienced Naval Architects and Marine engineers to bring your ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coding and optimizing data exchange mechanisms between software packages
  • Developing and implementing efficient data management systems
  • Collaborating with Naval Architects and Marine engineers to design and develop new vessels
  • Identifying and communicating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • Studying for a Bachelor's degree in ICT, Naval Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in high-level programming languages and good practices on database design
  • Experience with 2D CAD and 3D modeling (Rhino)
  • Passionate about ships and shipbuilding
  • Fluent in English spoken and written
