About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our Finance & Risk Data Domain team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a key role in creating value out of data by enabling structural and compliant data delivery, transformation, dashboard, and report generation on our new Azure cloud-based platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support data users in defining functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead discussions with requestors to understand and challenge the scope and content of requirements.
  • Perform information analysis, bridging the gap between business and IT.
  • Have an end-to-end overview, from Golden datasets to use cases.
  • Define and register metadata, analyze and resolve DQ issues, capture governance lineage, and support the construction of the business data model and logical data model.
About the Team

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), playing an active role for all Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with diverse backgrounds, driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time by improving data itself, data systems, and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model, and our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments with a dynamic, open, and informal atmosphere.

Requirements
  • Proven ability in data analytics, data management, data modeling, and/or data architecture.
  • Energetic and passionate about combining thinking and doing.
  • Strong handle on organizational knowledge, particularly with stakeholders.
  • Client focus drives work within the team.
  • Take responsibility and maintain expertise.
  • Keen to actively contribute to area development and improvement.
What We Offer
  • Gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • Benefit Budget of 11% of salary, allowing additional employment benefits.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year, with option to purchase additional four weeks.
