Project Manager Job Description

At Plug Power Inc, we are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects to ensure they are delivered within budget and time constraints. This will involve daily contact with clients and the execution team to align scope, technical details, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contracts and be the first point of contact for clients.
  • Attend customer meetings and consult on variations in costs and time.
  • Responsible for scope, budget, time, risk, and quality of the project.
  • Align priorities of the project team and organize risk identification and mitigation reviews.
  • Escalate to the Manager of Projects when necessary.
  • Responsible for project reporting.

QHSE Responsibilities:
  • Taking training courses and using personal protective equipment.
  • Cooperating on quality, health, safety, environment, and security improvements.
  • Reporting incidents and potential dangers.
  • Acting according to the Company Policy and Code of Conduct.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and Technology or relevant work experience.
  • VCA/VOL certificate or willingness to obtain it.
  • Professional-level English language skills.

Seniority Levels:
  • Associate Project Manager: Manage a project with support from a (Sr.) Project Manager.
  • Project Manager: Individually manage a project and take into account other disciplines within the project team.
  • Sr. Project Manager: Individually manage a project, coach and support (Associate) Project Managers, and identify current and future project needs.
