Leather Goods Design Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our Leather Goods Design Department as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced designers and production team to develop and refine leather goods collections.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences in the leather goods industry.
  • Assist in the creation of leather goods collections by contributing to the development of sketches, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Participate in color direction and provide input on color trends and combinations for leather goods collections.
  • Collaborate with the design team to translate design concepts into tangible leather goods products, aligning with ECCO's brand aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless coordination and execution of the design and manufacturing process.
  • Participate in collection overviews, presentations, and meetings, contributing to the organization and preparation of materials.
  • Assist in the creation of visual materials, including mood boards, color palettes, and digital renderings.
  • Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to develop and refine design concepts.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Fashion Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Accessories Design, or related fields).
  • Strong passion for leather goods design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Excellent sketching and visualization skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
