Newborn Screening Specialist – Benelux and Nordics

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Specialist – Newborn Screening to join our team in the Benelux and Nordics region. This role will focus on sales and support of reproductive health screening technologies and platforms, with a specific emphasis on assay consultation, seminars, reagent, software, and instrument evaluations, customer training, and follow-up support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Benelux & Nordic reproductive health sales team in driving new business and managing existing customer requirements.
  • Execute demonstrations of Revvity's Newborn screening products in support of pre-sales activity, including seminar talks, talks at local conferences, poster sessions, and consultative discussions with key customers.
  • Support customer adoption of Revvity technologies by providing demonstrations and application development.
  • Assist sales team in closing large and influential opportunities.
  • Work at a scientific level with customers to maximize their experimental quality and robustness.
  • Provide product training to the field sales team as new features/functionality become available for designated products.
  • Coordinate with Product Management to identify, communicate, and incorporate new product enhancements to ensure we deliver competitive solutions that are differentiated through value as perceived by our customers.
  • Analyse data and review results to support the field engineers in identifying root cause of any technical issues.
  • Characterize the external market by performing competitive assessments for the region.

Requirements:

  • BSc biomedical sciences/biochemistry or similar, an advanced degree would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Extensive experience in a newborn screening laboratory.
  • Experience with appropriate technologies including MSMS, Immunoassays and PCR.
  • Must be Professional and Ethical with high Integrity.
  • Proactive mindset with strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Ability to analyse and solve complex problems. Capable of influence and motivating others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Revvity's reagents and instrumentation is preferred.
  • Netherlands based.
  • Ability to travel (50%).
  • Language – English and Dutch.
