Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Operator to join our team at UPS. As a Vehicle Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-shift checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
- Operate vehicles on the yard, receiving assignments from an on-board computer and communicating with the control room.
- Close all containers and trailers at the end of each shift.
- Perform post-shift checks on vehicles and report any defects.
Requirements
- A valid C or CE driving license is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Physical ability to secure containers to trailers or trucks manually.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including start times that may fluctuate.
