The Team
You will lead the transformation of the 'TH Product Teams' by spearheading change and fostering alignment to enhance operational efficiencies, thereby creating opportunities for strategic innovation within the organization.
The Role
In your capacity as VP of Planning & Strategy, you will oversee a central team responsible for formulating and executing long-term strategic growth initiatives. Your leadership will ensure a cohesive vision across all business units while enhancing our planning processes through the following:
- Development of strategic range planning capabilities to meet KPIs that support brand growth strategies, ensuring alignment with global market needs.
- Management of product lifecycle with a focus on demand forecasting.
- Coordination of global forecasting efforts, acting as the central liaison between global markets and brands to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Standardized reporting of brand-level insights to inform decision-making.
- Translation and prioritization of long-term product goals and strategic brand initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Streamlining and enhancing process and milestone planning.
- Engaging key stakeholders across the organization to foster collaboration.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years leading Merchandise Planning and Allocation teams, with at least 15 years in the MPA field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Proven track record in analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a history of delivering results through innovative solutions. Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic recommendations. A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for developing new methodologies. Experience in leading large teams and managing multiple direct reports, with a focus on talent development and succession planning.
