Quality Manager - External Warehouses

At Swapfiets, we're on a mission to make cities more liveable by providing worry-free biking for all. As we continue to expand our operations, we're looking for a seasoned Quality Manager to oversee and enhance the quality of repairs at our external third-party repair (3PR) locations.

This role is perfect for a passionate bicycle enthusiast with a knack for leadership, quality control, and process improvement. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all bikes meet our high standards, conducting quality audits, and driving continuous improvements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality audits at external 3PR warehouses to ensure compliance with our standards
  • Inspect repaired bikes to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Monitor compliance with our repair work instructions and quality protocols
  • Train and assess the skills of local 3PR repair teams
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and provide solutions to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Regularly visit 3PR locations to sample-check repaired bikes and ensure consistent quality standards
  • Lead weekly quality meetings with 3PR teams to discuss progress and identify focus areas
  • Foster a culture where quality is embedded as a habit across all Swapfiets operations

Your Profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in quality control, repair management, or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes
  • Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team and implement change
  • Basic mathematical skills for data-driven quality audits and assessments
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software to generate reports and monitor performance
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills to effectively train, guide, and work with external and internal teams
