Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Stryker European Operations Limited - Dutch Branch Office. As a key member of our Commercial Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products from our suppliers to our customers in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including commercial teams, supply planning, and integrated business planning teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to gain better visibility on supply/demand gaps, resulting in reduced backorders and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with supply planning and IBP management to gain insights into current and potential challenges to meet demand.
  • Coordinate the EU allocation process for products on global allocation, ensuring seamless execution with the EU Supply Planning Team.
  • Monitor ordering trends of key accounts and work to optimize service levels and product supply in critical customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement supply and inventory strategies for new product launches in Europe, ensuring timely and efficient ramp-up timings and quantities.
  • Troubleshoot and recommend solutions to release orders on hold, ensuring minimal disruption to product supply.
  • Assess product portfolio to identify standard configurations for reduced order management complexity and shorter lead times.
  • Assess inventory levels across product lines and regional warehouses to ensure adequate safety stock and identify areas for adjustments.
  • Develop and implement product obsolescence strategies and execute as part of the Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) process in EMEA.
  • Proactively identify potential issues that could cause disruption to product supply and partner with the IBP team to understand root causes and put stopgaps in place.
  • Communicate backorder and supply updates to commercial management on a frequent basis, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Raise attention to and coordinate resources to address critical gaps in the supply chain that are causing disruptions for sales reps and customers.
  • Assess distributor inventory management and work to improve processes to improve predictability and customer service levels.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of professional work experience, with at least 3-4 years in a production, supply, or demand role (or equivalent), demonstrating knowledge and experience in supply chain processes.
  • Experience in supply chain or planning management is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or an Engineering-related field.
  • Preferred qualifications include in-depth knowledge of demand management/sales forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain issues, as well as experience in the medical device industry.
