Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Solution Architect to join our team of Architects and Engineering Managers. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading the management and maintenance of our organization's cloud architecture. You will work closely with our CTO and other stakeholders to define the future-state architecture, develop and organize cloud systems, and evaluate building things ourselves vs. integrating off-the-shelf solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a well-informed cloud strategy
  • Understand how technology can help our business grow faster
  • Develop and organize cloud systems
  • Evaluate building things ourselves vs. integrating off-the-shelf solutions
  • Bring our technology to even further levels of innovation while keeping things simple
  • Improve our Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps in terms of automation and maturity
  • Bring your ideas to life and explain and evangelize towards our tech community, management, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Architect/Solution Architect or similar role in FinTech
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
  • A base knowledge of IT-security best-practices
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal in English) to properly articulate complicated problems and initiatives to management and other IT development partners
  • Salesforce experience is preferred
  • Solid experience with AWS offerings, especially serverless
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design and designing and integrating APIs (networking/VPC, API Gateways, etc)
