Job Description

Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled student to join our team as a Mechanical Engineering Intern in the Wafer Table Performance group at ASML. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data analysis techniques to optimize wafer table performance.

Background Information

The Wafer Table program is a critical component of our DUV scanners, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us improve its performance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, and experience with data analysis and MATLAB.

Your Assignment

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a swap detection metric for dry wafer tables
  • Combining information from various sources to form a comprehensive understanding of wafer table performance
  • Verifying the model with field information using prototype dashboards

Your Profile

To be a successful candidate, you will have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Experience with big data handling and population data analysis
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and other relevant tools
  • Excellent communication skills in English
