ASML is seeking a highly skilled Product Safety Engineer to join our Development & Engineering (D&E) Safety department. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of R&D machinery and equipment, and for supporting global product safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct safety risk assessments and identify potential hazards on machines and equipment
- Approve machines and equipment based on safety legislation and standards, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Perform regular audits and inspections to identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to educate employees on best practices and regulations
- Act as a resource for employees, providing guidance and support on safety topics
- Bachelor's degree in occupational Health and Safety, engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in safety, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g. NEN, IEC, OSHA, ANSI, ISO)
