About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Corporate Banking Talent Programme as a Trainee in the Financing Solutions track. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and develop your skills in corporate banking, finance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in structuring and executing financing transactions, including club deals, syndicated loans, and sustainability linked loans.
  • Work closely with other departments in the bank to serve ABN AMRO's largest international clients.
  • Contribute to accelerating the sustainability shift of our clients and making ABN AMRO a futureproof bank.
  • Participate in hands-on training in the fields of Accounting, Financial Analysis, Financial Modelling, Banking, Credit Risk, Sustainability, and personal development.
About the Programme

The Corporate Banking Talent Programme is a 24-month programme that consists of multiple rotations of four months. You will have the opportunity to work in various departments, including Lending, Loan Markets, Project Finance, Export Finance, Leveraged Finance, and Financial Institutions Specialised Lending. You will also have the option to do a rotation outside of Financing Solutions in departments such as Risk, Syndicate, Debt Capital Markets, Capital Structuring and Advisory, Central Portfolio Management, Financial Restructuring and Recovery, or Corporate Finance (M&A).

Requirements
  • Academic Master's degree.
  • A natural feeling for finance and affinity with corporate banking.
  • No more than one year of work experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English, in writing and speaking.
  • A clear Dutch link.
