Your Mission

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on assigned customer cases, including execution of periodic maintenance, fault diagnosis, and execution of repairs. You will also install new systems and train customers, close cooperation with production and engineering departments, and travel regionally and internationally.

Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with solid knowledge of electronics (analog and digital) and mechanics.
  • 5 years of experience as a service engineer in complex instrumentation used in a semiconductor environment.
  • Good PC and software knowledge, particularly Linux.
  • Knowledge of electron optics, high voltage, and vacuum technology is a bonus.
  • Passion, deductive capability, and customer-driven attitude required for independent work after six months.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to operate complex machines and programs.
  • Able to realize committed deadlines under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of English and willingness to travel and interact with people from various cultures.
  • Customer-directed, perseverance, and diplomatic skills required.
  • Able to work independently and contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge and participating in projects.
Secondary Requirements
  • EU residence and working permit.
  • Living in the Netherlands or planning to relocate on short notice.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
