Covebo, a global leader in separation technology, is seeking a skilled Metalwork Specialist to join their team in Geldrop. As a CNC operator in the finishing department, you will be responsible for managing and operating multiple CNC and NC machines. Your tasks will include updating and correcting data in SAP, measuring components with precision, and contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficient Machine Operation: Operate a variety of CNC and NC machines to produce high-quality wear parts.
• Quality Control: Perform quality inspections using specialized measuring tools to ensure standards are met.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvements by utilizing APS systems (Lean/Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and optimize operations.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with the latest machinery and software.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in machinery operation and technical work.
• Education: MBO Level 2 diploma in a metal or technical field is preferred.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and adapt to changing priorities.
• Technical Skills: Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, with a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and World-Class Manufacturing practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: A competitive monthly salary ranging from €2,744 to €3,334.
• Additional Benefits: Compensation for additional hours worked, travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer, and opportunities for career advancement.
