About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled Data Center Security Manager to oversee security vendors and budgeting for security services on our data center location. As a key member of our Technical Infrastructure team, you will collaborate with other Google business units to implement security policy, investigate violations, and resolve security concerns at the data center.

As a seasoned security professional, you will be responsible for managing active security incidents, responding to critical events, and liaising with public safety. Your expertise in security technologies, including CCTV, access control, incident management systems, and security operations centers, will be invaluable in driving business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the compliance, security, and risk management (CSRM) program at the Data Center campus or related infrastructure.
  • Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large-scale event response or crisis management when needed.
  • Implement established compliance processes aligned with CSRM policies, standards, guidelines, and relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the security-related costs through budget, forecasting, and invoice control for the assigned campus.
