You will be working as an Electrical Engineering Coordinator in a dynamic project team at YER, a project-focused management company that partners with strategic co-makers to deliver essential yacht construction packages. In this role, you will report directly to the Project Manager Engineering and play a pivotal part in ensuring the timely availability of all engineering documents within your assigned technical discipline.
Your primary responsibilities include developing detailed plans and delivery schedules for engineering documentation in collaboration with your manager and other stakeholders. As the primary point of contact for Regulatory Authorities, Owner's Representatives, Designers, and Subcontractors, you will oversee day-to-day progress and ensure alignment of engineering work. Additionally, you will take on a leadership role, leading, developing, and motivating a team of in-house professionals within your functional area.
We are looking for someone with higher vocational education or secondary vocational education with relevant work experience (MBO+) related in the electrical discipline. A minimum of 5 years' experience preferably in the maritime industry and/or yacht building industry is required. You should also have knowledge of MS office applications, AutoCad and/or Rhinoceros, and a good command of written and spoken English.
