The Role: We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Software Engineer specializing in Intelligent Automation within our R&D Digital Products team. This role is integral to our IT & Digital Team, focusing on revolutionizing the development of antibody-based therapies. You will engage in the dynamic integration of AI and digital technologies, driving transformative initiatives across our operations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation solutions tailored for various R&D functions, including Research Informatics and Lab Management Systems, utilizing platforms like Microsoft Power Platform.
- Develop automations that align with both functional and non-functional specifications, ensuring they meet the needs of our R&D teams.
- Oversee the delivery of automation projects, maintaining the automation center and managing cloud flows to synchronize data across environments.
- Integrate automation with big data, analytics, and AI, adhering to best practices and governance standards.
- Provide visual insights through Power BI to monitor and enhance automation assets.
- Utilize existing UI libraries for creating user interfaces, facilitating rapid prototyping of automation projects.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of automation solutions through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality automation solutions that empower our R&D efforts.
- Stay updated on the latest automation advancements and explore innovative approaches to enhance our automation capabilities.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience in the Life Sciences, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical sectors is essential.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation development and deployment using cloud-based technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Azure and Power Platform.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, and RPA tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
- Understanding of cloud computing services and concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Relevant certifications in Power Platform or related fields are advantageous.
