We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

• A base salary of €6,500 per month (full-time equivalent)
• Holiday pay: 8% of annual gross salary

As a Technical Specialist Preservation, Welding, Adhesives, you will play a key role in driving innovation and supporting modern technology developments within our research & technology support group. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing expert guidance on preservation, welding, and adhesive technologies
2. Evaluating contractual specifications related to preservation, welding, and adhesives for shipbuilding projects
3. Developing technical specifications and instructions based on contractual documents and classification requirements
4. Managing and maintaining ISO 3834 welding activities, advising on corrosion prevention, and bonding techniques
5. Collaborating with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with technical standards

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Bachelor or Master degree in corrosion protection technology or material sciences
• Qualification in FROSIO painting, IWE welding, or alternatively an IWT welding certificate
• Experience working in complex project environments, ideally in shipbuilding or a related industry
• Effective communication skills, with experience liaising with research institutes, universities, engineers, and project managers
