About the Role

The Controller EMEA is a critical position within HITEC Power Protection, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the EMEA region. As a seasoned financial professional, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, while also managing a team of finance professionals and collaborating with regional controllers globally.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial reporting packages for the EMEA region, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to prepare forecasts and budgets for entities within the EMEA region.
  • Participate in the Monthly Business Review meeting, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and timely recorded, maintaining a high level of financial integrity.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, financial consultants, and other authorities, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of financial matters.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and efficiency.
  • Proactively discuss financial results with management teams and stakeholders, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and drive business insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with experience in implementing process improvements.
