As part of the NEMO project, this position will focus on advancing computer-assisted diagnostic tools using patient data from various sources.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is approximately €2,901 per month, increasing to €3,677 in the fourth year, with an 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% end-of-year bonus. The conditions of employment are conform with CAO University Medical Centre (CAO-UMC).
Job Description
This PhD position is part of a multidisciplinary team exploring hyperkinetic movement disorders, neuroimaging, and AI technologies, including machine/deep learning and computer vision. The successful candidate will pioneer the integration of computational innovation into clinical application, significantly impacting medical diagnostics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with deep learning methodologies, preferably with a focus on video analysis or computer vision.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and a critical mindset for addressing research questions.
- A track record of academic excellence and a strong motivation for scientific research.
