About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Field Engineer to join our team at Lan Handling. As a Mechanical Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and testing machinery at our customers' sites, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test machinery at customer sites, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software specialists to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Travel extensively, up to 30% of the time, to customer sites in the Americas and other regions.
  • Work closely with project teams to design, build, and test machinery, from concept to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • MBO/HBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
