The Opportunity:

As a Technical Manufacturing Scheduler at Avantor, you will play a vital role in driving efficiency, innovation, and quality within our production processes. You will contribute to the success of our organization and the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure materials and resources are available for production.
  • Track production progress, identify delays, and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material inventories, and work orders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between production, sales, and customer service teams regarding scheduling issues.
  • Continuously analyze production processes and schedules to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Generate regular reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and resource utilization.
  • Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and production issues promptly.
  • Ensure all scheduling activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production scheduling, preferably in the biopharma or related manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in production scheduling software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
