About the Role

As an Intermediate SCADA Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the operational technology landscape, ensuring the seamless functioning of our systems. Your expertise will contribute to the optimization of our international trading department's operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with a dynamic operational technology environment, ensuring continuous functionality and reliability.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges in the evolving energy sector, including the integration of a new SCADA system.
  • Enhance the synergy between operational technology, information technology, and Internet of Things (IoT) frameworks.

What You Will Do

Your role will involve addressing critical questions such as, "How can we enhance the predictability of our operational processes?" You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and outlining monitoring and control requirements across various processes.
  • Translating these requirements into clear specifications.
  • Creating design and testing documentation.
  • Participating in engineering activities related to system integrations and SCADA functionalities.
  • Overseeing projects from design through to implementation and testing.

Ultimately, you will ensure a reliable and efficient control system.


Candidate Profile
  • Proficient in Dutch, with a minimum B1 level due to stakeholder interactions.
  • Demonstrated experience in mission-critical environments.
  • Holds a valid VCA basic certificate and is willing to participate in on-call shifts.
  • Possesses a valid driving license (B).

Your Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage the SCADA environment and its connections.
  • Implement new features and modifications in our applications.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative technical solutions for new projects.
  • Facilitate data integration from new assets using existing and new solutions.
  • Participate in a 24/7 standby rotation to ensure operational availability.

Work Environment

You will be part of the Business Technology Assets department, collaborating with a diverse team of approximately 35 professionals, including experts in Edge Engineering, Networking, IoT, and SCADA-OT.


What We Offer

A competitive gross annual salary ranging from €67,000 to €90,000, inclusive of a FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and potential bonuses or profit-sharing opportunities.
