Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vessel Agency Operator to join our team at Clarksons PLC. As a key member of our port services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and ship crews, ensuring seamless operations and efficient communication throughout the port visit process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and ship crews, providing expert guidance and support throughout the port visit process.
  • Coordinate with port authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and efficient communication.
  • Manage berth reservations, customs clearance, and other formalities related to ship and cargo operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of services and support.

Requirements

  • Minimum MBO4 level of education and thinking.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in English and Dutch.
  • Proven work experience in the shipping industry and ship agency.
  • Experience with customs is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license (B).
