Senior Research Engineer in Autonomous Navigation

We are seeking a talented Research Engineer to join our team in the field of autonomous navigation. As a key member of our Smart Mechatronics And RoboTics (SMART) research group, you will design, implement, and validate new solutions for autonomous navigation, with a focus on precise mapping and localization in challenging and featureless environments.
As a Research Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and testing new prototypes, collaborating with other engineers, companies, and students, and contributing to the team's results. Your expertise in sensing and fusion technologies, such as LiDAR, Radar, and camera-based autonomous navigation, will be invaluable to our team.
- You will design, implement, and validate new solutions for autonomous navigation, with a focus on precise mapping and localization in challenging and featureless environments.
- You will develop and test new prototypes, collaborating with other engineers, companies, and students.
- You will contribute to the team's results, sharing your knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD or Master of Science in a relevant technical discipline, such as computer vision, computer science, mechatronics, or a relevant engineering field. You will also need to have experience with sensing and fusion technologies, such as LiDAR, Radar, and camera-based autonomous navigation. Additionally, you will need to be an enthusiastic team player, with a strong ability to collaborate with others and contribute to team results.
