About the Opportunity

You will lead our R&D Team in EMEA, prioritizing projects to support group strategy and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs. This role is initially based in the Netherlands but may have flexible locations in Belgium, France, or Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the R&D Team, setting priorities and capitalizing on technology advancements.
  • Evaluate new products and processes through partnerships and key alliances to differentiate future solutions.
  • Promote developed solutions and provide technical support within the group and with Sales & Marketing and customers.

Your Profile and Skills:

  • A degree in Material Science Technology or Polymers is preferred, with several years of experience leading a R&D Team in a related industry.
  • Solid knowledge of Polymer Science, Extrusion, and Compounding, as well as mechanical design and project management skills.
  • Motivation and example are essential leadership methods.
  • Good understanding of IT and financial insights, with strength in working complex details and being solution-oriented.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is a plus.
