About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team at Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam. As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of security professionals to ensure compliance with national laws and regulations, management decisions, and PPHE Hotel Group operating policies, processes, and procedures.
- Achieve financial and responsible business goals by promoting security, preventing fraud, and managing costs.
- Complete tasks relevant to guests', employees', and visitors' safety and security, including surveillance duties, public area vigilance, and responding to security breaches.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external guests, including hotel colleagues, via written correspondence, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when personalizing external and internal guests' needs and the changing demand and priorities of the business.
- Share best practices regarding efficiency and profitability.
- Work in shifts, including weekends, and be present at key busy times.
- Support projects within the Netherlands properties.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in the Dutch language.
- Previous experience working in hotels.
- At least 2 years of experience in an assistant or similar role.
- Beveiliger 2 diploma.
- BHV / EHBO diploma.
- VOG (proof of good behavior).
