The Commis Chef role at IZAKAYA Amsterdam presents an exceptional opportunity for early-career Chefs to develop their skills in our vibrant Asian Fusion kitchen.

As a valued member of our team, you will assist in preparing our signature dishes according to the IZAKAYA standard, working closely with our specialist chefs. This is a fantastic chance to learn from our experienced team and contribute to the creation of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking food to the highest standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Ensuring mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
  • Preparing dishes according to recipes and quantities
  • Contributing to high-volume service while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

  • The ability to communicate effectively in English
