We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral fellow to join our research team in the Division of Nephrology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in immunology, biochemistry or related fields, and will be responsible for assisting in kidney research led by Professor Sydney CW Tang.
Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct research projects encompassing clinical nephrology and basic science pertaining to kidney inflammation and fibrosis
- Contribute to projects to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms of different forms of acute kidney injury/chronic kidney disease in translational medicine
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A Ph.D. degree with a strong background in immunology, biochemistry or related fields, preferably with experience in advanced biostatistics and related software usage
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently with high motivation
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
