Financial Controller Role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead our financial management and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and financial reporting
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior management, including the CEO and GM EMEA
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and tax laws
  • Collaborate with the GM EMEA to develop the annual budget and strategic plan
  • Implement and maintain an effective system of internal controls
  • Support the Financial Specialist in accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Support the HR Team
  • Oversee audit and tax functions and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors

Requirements:

  • HBO in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including Dutch GAAP and IFRS
  • Proficient in Exact and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
