Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant Professor to join our faculty in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service, with a focus on developing and implementing innovative STEM education programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in STEM education, including introductory courses and advanced seminars.
  • Conduct research in STEM education, with a focus on developing and evaluating innovative teaching methods and materials.
  • Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in STEM education.
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff from other departments and institutions to develop and implement STEM education initiatives.
Qualifications
  • PhD in STEM education or a related field.
  • Excellent research and teaching skills, with a strong publication record and teaching experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
