DSV is a global leader in transport and logistics services, operating in over 80 countries. We are seeking a skilled Customs Declarant to join our team in Moerdijk, Netherlands.
About the RoleAs a Customs Declarant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across international borders. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and submitting accurate and timely customs documentation and certificates for export and import shipments.
- Maintaining daily contact with customs authorities, shipping companies, carriers, and customers to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conducting pre- and post-clearance checks on customs documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Providing proactive advice and support to colleagues on customs formalities and procedures.
- Liaising with customers, internal departments, and customs authorities to resolve any issues or concerns.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma of Declarant (EVO/Fenex) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or customs industry.
- Proficiency in the Dutch and English languages.
