Aftertreatment Calibration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Aftertreatment Calibration Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering, with a focus on internal combustion engines and after-treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate diagnostics for comprehensive components, including temperature and pressure sensors, to ensure compliance with OBD regulation and DAF product specifications.
- Collaborate with development teams to specify and monitor interactions between components and associated diagnostics.
- Perform calibration and verification work on engine and vehicle levels related to these components.
- Develop tools to control, maintain, and optimize calibration processes, including test cases, DOE, simulations, and HIL.
- Identify weaknesses and opportunities in diagnostic, process, and tooling areas.
- Support field data analysis for statistical analysis.
- Assist with OBD certification and documentation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in automotive or mechanical engineering, with a specialization in internal combustion engines or after-treatment systems.
- Knowledge or interest in OBD regulation and OBD systems.
- Familiarity with operating principles of automotive pressure and temperature sensors and their interface to a control unit.
- Structured working approach combined with a willingness to work in teams.
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, data processing tools, and MS-Office.
- Knowledge of statistics is required.
- Good English skills are mandatory, with a willingness to learn Dutch if needed.
