Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze internal reports on biofuel flows within VARO's network to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of sustainability documentation for clients, maintaining accurate records and adhering to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to guarantee compliance with biofuel administration requirements, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
  • Participate in regulatory audits to ensure successful certification and maintain a high level of compliance.
  • Support the submission of biofuel reports to national authorities, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Monitor biofuel processes, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Signal potential risks related to biofuel transactions and recommend necessary internal controls to mitigate these risks.

Required Profile

  • A strong background in reporting and a keen eye for detail, with experience in commodity markets being an advantage.
  • A Master's degree in Business Economics, Accounting & Controlling, or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial and regulatory principles.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with German, Dutch, or French being considered beneficial for communication with international clients and partners.
  • An affinity for ERP-systems, with experience in using these systems to manage and analyze data.
